16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
1 green onion, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Italian blend seasoning
Pinch ground black pepper
1/2 cup Nutral Honey Nut Granola
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Place the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add the bacon, cheddar, green onion, dill, onion powder, Italian seasoning, garlic, and pepper to the bowl and mix until very well combined. When done, the cream cheese mixture will be very thick and will hold its shape.
Scrape the sides of the bowl down and begin forming the cream cheese mixture into a ball. Spray your hands lightly with cooking spray and continue shaping the ball by hand.
In a shallow bowl or on a plate, mix the granola with the pecans.
Roll the cream cheese ball in the nut mixture on all sides, gently pressing down so that the nuts and seeds stick to the ball. Use your hands to press the nuts into the ball as needed so that it’s well coated.
Tightly wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and place it into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
When ready to serve, allow 15-20 minutes to soften at room temperature. To serve, cut or spoon portions onto appetizer plates. Store leftovers in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 5 days for the best freshness.
